Deadman Canyon Loop

The Yosemite-like walls of Deadman Canyon. Reminds me of the Murro Blanco. Only better.

Sheer Granite Walls

Deadman Canyon Loop - By D.W.Donehoo (All rights reserved)

After about a mile and a half of climbing, the trail levels into a park like area where you will be making an easy (early to mid season wet) crossing of the canyon's creek. Thereafter, the easy (sometimes exposed and hot) climb resumes on its trail up the canyon until it reaches another spectacular open meadowed park like area graced with beautifully polished vertical granite walls over 2300 feet high!
