The trail to Hell For Sure Lake fades away in the granite near the lake, making it a short search to find the Hell For Sure Pass trail. The trail to the pass is a rough wilderness trail over granite, through flowers, and in red metamorphic soil at the top. The view on both sides of the pass make the work to get there worthwhile.
