A Solo Hike Along the Silver Divide
Near the outlet is a small lake that Anne Lake pours its waters into.
Anne Lake Outlet
Silver Divide Trip from Edison Lake Trailhead, August 2001
Beyond the outlet I found the little outlet lake, which I turned on the right. As I walked around the lakelet, I had more nice views over Peter Panda Lake. Crossing the final outlet who's waters rushed down to the camp below, I turned the lake and enjoyed the nice open terrain of large slabs and small groves of trees.
Beyond Anne Lake's outlet waters is a much larger lake in a beautiful setting.
I cut over to a much larger round lake, this time turning the lake to the left, skirting closely to the shore. At one point it was very narrow along the shore and I had to use some helper rocks to complete the circuit to the north shore. I was just making things hard on myself just for fun.
