A Walk on the Tablelands

Table18

Looking across Moose Lake to the ridge with the pass we would be crossing the next day.

Moose Lake at Last

From our watering spot it was just a walkup on good trail right up to the lip of Moose Lake, to about 30 feet above the water. We were tempted to stay because there were several very level camp-sites amid rock walls, even though getting water would be an adventure in itself. We had already climbed over 2000 feet over about 3.5 miles.
