Mt. Whitney From Cottonwood Lakes

Look carefully and you can see a trail in the snow. The"99 Switchbacks" is out there on that ridge. Trail Crest is on the right horizon while left of middle picture is Mt. Langley.

At one point I could look through a break in the ridge and see the infamous "99 Switchbacks". Or is it one hundred now? Whatever. What I could see was that the trail was partially covered with snow.
