Even if you started the day at Twin Lakes, consider stopping at these lakes for the excellent cross-country exploration opportunities this area offers and the spectacular surrounding scenery that needs study in all light conditions. The lovely lakes below Crescent Lake are easy to get to and Sheep Camp Lakes are also a short jaunt away. During the day, but especially at night, walk out behind the east side campsites of Ranger Lake to the open rocky point for great views of the surrounding area. Ranger and Beville lakes are just a fine place to be for an overnight visit.
