A Solo Hike Along the Silver Divide
Looking towards the Silver Divide and the peak that overlooks Wilber May lake. The lake outlet is on the right. Across the lake is the good camping area.
Touring the LakesSilver Divide Trip from Edison Lake Trailhead, August 2001
The outlet stream is easy to cross, and makes for a nice stroll about the lake. The area is very park-like in its own wild nature, with everything seemingly placed by a master gardener. The next lake in the chain has a small fall that is the outlet of the next lake over. More pictures from there later.
Walking up the trail to "Graveyard Lakes Pass", you come to the next lake in the chain, a picturesque little lake with a noisy short fall of the outlet of the slightly higher lake above. Graveyard Peak towers above all. The trail is more of a use trail, but easy to follow. It is a nice walk.
