A Walk on the Tablelands

At the trail junction, the left fork climbs above this point and turns the cliffs on the right on its way to the summit of Alta Peak. The right junction heads for Alta Meadow, my destination.

Continuing on we soon reached the junction of Alta Peak and Alta Meadows, having gone about 4.8 miles and gained 2335 feet on the trail.
