After a short break Dave and his new exhausted friend finally pulled up. Dave can hike most people into the ground, and the new guy looked pale with exhaustion. That guy commented it was a lot harder coming down the pass than going up. Dave was pleased with the challenge of the pass and we both agreed it was the high point of the day.
