A Walk on the Tablelands

There mid picture is Table Meadows and Table Lake. Further to the left is the cross-country route to Ranger Lakes, seen below Mt. Silliman in the far distance.

Tablelands!

Cross country is insanely easy and never more than a casual stroll in the sun drenched gardens. Dave commented we were getting spoiled by this easy travel, and later we would see the final proof of this.
Turning NE towards point 10860, we headed upward along the ridge, swatting mosquitoes that urged us to keep moving.
